Christmas decor

How do you decorate for the holidays?  Do you use the same stuff every year?  Do you have a themed Christmas Tree?  Do you have a color palette ?  

I myself come up with new decor every year.  Not wanting to spend a lot of money, I try to do it on the cheap.    

My expenses thus far-

pine cones- free from nature

white paint- had on hand

Striped duct tape- $3.00 (Walmart)

Thrift store glittered deer- $ 2.18

Black matted frame- had on hand

Total thus far- $5.18

My budget is $25.00 

It's early, but I am off to a good start.
